Project Engineer Under the direction of the Product Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer works directly with Design and Manufacturing resources to plan and complete assigned projects within the time and costs established for the project. The position will manage multiple concurrent projects in an outsourced manufacturing and engineering environment. Education and Experience · BSME or BSEE · Five or more years of experience in design engineering in an electrical/mechanical environment, lighting experience preferred. · Experience with project management processes and knowledge of time and materials estimation. · Able to design and draw products using Solidworks or an equivalent software from artist rendering and product descriptions. Ability to visualize the finished product. · Knowledge of materials, specifically plastic and metal, and their manufacturing processes and limitations with respect to heat and light. · Knowledge of testing and regulatory processes. The position is in Waukegan, Northeastern Lake County, Illinois, 15 minutes south of the Illinois-Wisconsin state line. Our salary and benefits package is top notch.
